Sativa and Indica: What’s the Difference?

Sativa Strains: What Are They?

When you see a strain marked “sativa,” then you are looking at a strain of cannabis that is better for daytime use, providing a mental state of elation, often making folks feel more creative and even known to increase productivity.

Sativa strains can take a bit longer to grow than indica strains, and may produce less of a yield than their indica counterparts. Sativa strains are perfect for anyone looking for an uplift during the day, helping with morning or afternoon pain relief, or providing a midday pick-me-up if you are in need of one.

Sativa strains are great for helping treat psychological conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more.  If an ailment is more mental than physical, then sativa strains are probably the better option for treatment, due to the more mental effects sativa strains possess.

Choosing the Right Strain For You

Knowing the difference between the two types of medical cannabis is great information, but you’ll still have to figure out where you will mail order marijuana. When you go to the dispensary, consider asking the budtender about some of the different strains present in the dispensary, and let them know some of the issues you deal with.
